In the testing and development of this software the stability of the connection to the database is paramount. Any devices in the network that cannot maintain that connection, may result in or may contribute to a runtime error. The error itself, is the systems response to the loss in that connectivity Tom. The machines, the RMS version and the operating systems aren't the issue. Because wireless of any kind isn't as stable within an active network as wired. It isn't recommended or supported to be used within a RMS POS environment. That may be why the other systems don't encounter the same connectivity loss. Try plugging it into the network after the other machine is unplugged from the network to see if the runtime happens, I would try that first.
