RE: Quantities changing automatically on POS

Hello,

I believe it is important to first know what end of life means for RMS customers.

1. After July of this year you may not buy any more licenses for new POS registers or Headquarters.

2. There will be no more major cumulative updates or development.

Does this mean it is the end of RMS and customers now need to buy another POS application?  No it does not.

RMS support continues to 2021 that is another 5 years.

If you have problems or you need help, you can create a case and get help and support from Microsoft or from Microsoft Partners for RMS, the same as you always have.

Microsoft does not sell or support essentials.

I do not know what it costs or what support costs or what the system requirements are.

If I have paid for a product and licenses and the product is good, my people know how it works and I know I can get support if I need it.

I take care of what I have, and I only make changes that are necessary so my business can continue to make money.

I am a professional, I would not say or suggest you should not move to another product. If that is what you feel is best for the organization that is your decision to make.

If you follow my recommendations you have another 5 years to think about it or better prepare for it.

I hope this helps you in your choice.
