Wow, I wish there was. It happens randomly to several workstations each week. My solution was to distribute a short memo instructing cashiers how to correct the issue: Control F6 > Window... > set negative numbers to 0.
The other, similarly random issue is not being able to re-open POS after it's been suddenly quit. Short of restarting the computer, using Task Manager to end SOPOSUSER process.
