Hi,
Install SQL Server Backward Compatibility Tools before installing Headquarters Module. It works fine.
I have tried installing Microsoft Dynamics RMS HQ on a machine that was just upgraded to Windows 10. Previously the machine ran Windows 8.1 Pro and HQ worked with no problems. Now I get the message - Error 1904.Module C:Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\sqldmo.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024714. COntact your support personnel.
I need help with resolving this urgently
This is the first occurrence of this issue.
If anyone has any suggestions, it will be greatly appreciated.
Hola Karlo.

All,
Can I call a SQL Scalar Function into a XML Receipt?
Due a client policies, I need to put a variable string from a function into a receipt form.
Best regards,
The DEX.INI file is a text file and you can modify it using NOTEPAD.EXE. The bigger problem is it sounds your reports dictionary is corrupt. Are you using a shared reports dictionary or a local copy? If it is local you could copy one from another computer. The DEX.INI file will be found in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP10\Data subfolder. Have you tried reverting all reports back to unmodified versions? After that I would try to uninstall GP and reinstall GP 10.
Does Anyone know how to remove/omit the $ from labels when you print them...
From what I can see it is automatically inserted with the price of the item in the label designer...
Hi Darryl. Do You get any error at the end, some message maybe? Maybe it is the SQL Server connection time-out? Try to change it in the Administrator, double the actual value You have (normally 60 sec.). Also, can You put a SQL Server profiler and maybe detect where the problem is? Any additional info is good...

Hi Antonijo,
Thank you sooo much for your reply.
Fortunately the issue was resolved. Apparently it took longer than normal for the process to complete, but it eventually did.
One question, how do you run the SQL Server Profiler? This seems to be a useful tool.
Hi again.
Yes, it could be useful application, especially when you want to "catch" a SQL query that is attacking your database. Basically, it creates a "trace" of all the communication to a specific database.
It is an application that you have to install separately then your SQL Server, not sure if it is installed automatically. More info: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/tools/sql-server-profiler/sql-server-profiler
Ok great!!! Thank you very much for the info.
Table name is "ReasonCode".
It's best to use the HQ Manager program to add new reason codes and let the RMS system worksheets (Style 401) update the store tables.
In HQ Manager running in maintenance mode (or in Store Ops Manager if you don't have the HQ module) use the "Database" drop-down menu and select "Reason Codes". Add your new reason codes from system provided entry windows.
Which table contains data for Reason Code Types. I want to add types to the current list.
Thank you!
Hello DMM1,
Thank you for the response.
I would like to add a new Type in the Reason Code. I can add new Reason Codes but not Type.
Do you know where I can add types?
I do not... I see where Reason type codes are linked to a Reason type description, but I do not see a table for the reason 'type' code and description. I will post another reply if I can find the table.
Reason Code table "Properties" display
